LIB DEM COUNCILLORS ANNOUNCE SURGERY DATES

11.19.57am GMT Tue 12th Feb 2008

Liberal Democrat Councillors are continuing to hold their regular Advice Surgeries. They will be held on the fourth Saturday of every month in Torquay Library and Paignton Library. At both venues the Surgeries start at 10 am and last until 12 noon.

All local residents who have a problem or issue concerning the Council that they would like to discuss are welcome, and no appointment is necessary.

Councillor Christine Carter (Goodrington with Roselands) will be holding her surgeries separately on the 3rd Thursday of every month, at Goodrington Methodist Church, Goodrington, Paignton. The surgery lasts from 10.30am to 11.30am.

Councillor Cindy Stocks (Ellacombe) will be holding her advice surgeries on the first Saturday of every month at the Youth Hut on Ellacombe Green from 10 am to 12 noon.

Watcombe Councillors Steve Darling and Roger Stringer hold an additional surgery at the Prince of Orange Public House, Barton Hill Road, Torquay on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 10.30 - 11.30.

The Leader of the Liberal Democrat Group on Torbay Council, Cllr. Steve Darling said, "The Liberal Democrats have always recognised that it is important for Councillors to be available to the public that they serve by holding Surgeries. I would encourage members of the public to come and see us if they have a problem that we can deal with, or an issue they would like to discuss."
