LIB DEMS TO RAISE ISSUES AT FULL COUNCIL2.49.32pm BST (GMT +0100) Thu 12th Jul 2007 The Liberal Democrat Group on Torbay Council has tabled 7 questions to the Conservative administration for the Full Council Meeting on the 26th July. The topics include:
Commenting on the questions, the Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democrat Group on Torbay Council Cllr Ian Doggett said: "It is an important role in a democracy for local Councillors to be able to hold the Conservative administration to account for things that are going on in Torbay, and to raise important local issues. Many of the issues that we have tabled questions about are issues that have been raised with us by local people, or have been in the local media. The Liberal Democrats see it as their role to stand up for local people in Torbay."
